Chronic Dev Team has done it again and have released there very easy to use jailbreak tool for the Mac. They promised the wait wouldn’t be to long and they definitely delivered. The Chronic Dev Team have released their greenpois0n jailbreak using the USB exploit that geohot used in limera1n. You can go directly to the site or just download it here: Gp Win Rc3 for windows or gp_lin_rc3 for linux. The jailbreak works with:

- iPhone 4
- iPhone 3G S
- iPod touch (4th Generation)
- iPod touch (3rd Generation)
- iPad

limera1n

There has been a ton of drama around the jailbreak community lately due to the release of limera1n. GeoHot (George Hotz) pulled the carpet out from underneath the Chronic Dev Team on 10/09 by releasing his exploit and jailbreak dubbed limera1n the day before the scheduled release of Chronic Dev Teams greenpois0n. The Dev Team had initially planned to release their exploit on 10/10 @ 10:10 but due to the ego maniac geohot releasing his exploit first, they now have to get back to work to implement geohot’s “stolen” exploit into their tool. The SHAtter exploit will remain unreleased until the next generation of iDevices so prevent Apple from patching the exploit.
